Touya has come a long way from his fledgling adventurer days, when he first stepped into Ul'dah with the very simple purpose of seeing the world outside his La Noscean family home. Drawn into the complicated web of Eorzean politics and Ascian machinations, he struggled to navigate around the various issues coming at him full-speed. He still believes strongly in helping others, even after witnessing the world's myriad terrors and atrocities, and facing down his own personal demons and fears. And while he's a traveler at heart, he cherishes the home he's built with his loved ones and can never stay away for too long.

Trivia
Born the youngest of six children, Touya's the baby of the family and grew up mostly playing by himself due to the age gap between him and the rest of his siblings. He has good, though somewhat distant, relationships with his siblings, and is much closer to his parents. He writes to his mother often.
In terms of alcohol, Touya is a lightweight, and he finds that he's unwilling to change this since he doesn't like the taste anyway. Even so, he's perfectly happy to keep friends company at a tavern or inn, clutching a tankard of non-alcoholic drink (most likely orange juice).
Still an active member of the Rogues' Guild, Touya is committed to extending a helping hand to those affiliated with the Dutiful Sisters, and apprehending those who break Limsa Lominsa's unspoken code. He maintains a separate persona for doing rogue work and has earned a fearsome reputation with it.
Touya has learned Thieves' Cant from the rogues, though he's still far from using the Cant as full speech, as he struggles to make it not sound awkward and halting. However, he has mastered the hidden signs and symbols of the Cant, and can understand and display the appropriate responses to those in the know.
Touya has made a pact with a certain pixie, and staring death in the face, his beautiful branch gifted him magical tattoos spanning his body. An old magic, primarily made for aether regulation in a time when his body was failing him. The tattoos still function to regulate moments of intense aether fluctuation, the residual effect of that near-fatal experience - and also inadvertently function as a mood indicator with their changing colours. His affinity for magic also increased with these tattoos helping to channel aether more efficiently.
